Mes voyages en Am\u00e9rique latine m’ont toujours fascin\u00e9, tant par la richesse d’environnements naturels exceptionnels\u2014 la R\u00e9serve faunique de Crooked Tree au Belize, le Refuge naturel de Ca\u00f1o Negro au Costa Rica \u2014 que par la diversit\u00e9 envo\u00fbtante de leurs signatures sonores. Ces r\u00e9gions offrent une palette acoustique sans pareille. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

\n

Intervalles ultimes<\/a><\/em> est n\u00e9 de ce d\u00e9sir de partager ces ambiances sonores uniques : celles du Panama, tout particuli\u00e8rement autour du lac Gatun. Ces milieux sont aujourd’hui de plus en plus fragiles ; \u00e0 l’image de l’archipel des \u00eeles de San Blas, dont certaines disparaissent peu \u00e0 peu sous la mont\u00e9e des eaux, ces habitats s’effacent, emportant avec eux un patrimoine naturel et culturel irrempla\u00e7able. En ce sens, ces enregistrements font office d’archive acoustique de lieux qui s’\u00e9vanouissent physiquement.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Dans chacun de ces pays, la faune aviaire, omnipr\u00e9sente et flamboyante, compose un environnement sonore d’une richesse saisissante. Mais c’est peut-\u00eatre dans les silences que se r\u00e9v\u00e8le le v\u00e9ritable caract\u00e8re de ces lieux. Ces instants suspendus, entre deux chants, entre deux souffles de vent, ne sont pas une absence , ils sont une pr\u00e9sence \u00e0 part enti\u00e8re, une respiration du vivant qui donne tout son sens aux sons qui les entourent. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Combien de fois me suis-je arr\u00eat\u00e9, subjugu\u00e9, \u00e0 \u00e9couter ces concerts naturels avec \u00e9tonnement et admiration , aussi attentif au son qu’au silence qui le pr\u00e9c\u00e8de et le suit. Con\u00e7u en 2021, cet album est le fruit de trois ann\u00e9es de captations d\u00e9di\u00e9es sur le terrain, saisissant les \u00ab intervalles ultimes \u00bb d’un monde en transition. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/section>\n\n\n\n
